Khurram Malik have done masters in Mass Communications and had over a decade of experience in journalist and around 11 years of progressive and diversified experience in Project management, campaigning, advocacy, Communication, proposal writing, legislative governance, participatory local governance, public relations and media in different roles and contexts with development sector organizations of national and international repute. Besides this, he demonstrated skills with a record of accomplishment of working on political party development, strategy, policy, legislation and related themes. He has skills and experience in creating and directing campaigns and related initiatives. He has experience in managing communications / advocacy/media strategies, developing action plans. An excellent communicator with well-developed media skills, including social media,    Before SSDO he successfully completed my 3-year tenure as a Senior Programme Specialist at DAI Project Consolidating Democracy in Pakistan (CDIP). His responsibility was to work closely with major Political parties of Pakistan and help them strengthen their secretariats. He also worked on developmental projects/programs in the areas of Education, Political Party Development, Legislative Governance, Policy Advocacy, Women Political and Economic Empowerment, and Civil Military Relations, implemented by public sector and/or International donors’ agencies. Some prominent donor agencies I worked with include: USAID, DFID, UNICEF, UNDF, DANIDA and Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). He managed different projects and large teams and has a good liaison with Political party leadership, parliamentarians, different Government departments, donor agencies as well as with many National and International NGOs and media.   He also worked in Geo News, the leading news organization of Pakistan, as Senior Correspondent for more than eight years. At Geo, he covered the Prime Minister, Cabinet, Parliament and political parties. He traveled to more than 20 countries to cover Prime Minister’s official visits and international conferences. He also covered one of the biggest disasters of history I.e., Tsunami in Banda Ache in Indonesia in 2005.
