Pre-Launch of Gunjal Movie
Gunjal" is inspired by actual events in the life of child labor activist Iqbal Masih. The film offers a fictional narrative based on his courageous journey. The film follows journalist Shahbaz Bhatt on his journey to uncover the truth behind the murder of Irfan Masih.
The killer of an adolescent labor activist is acquitted, journalist Shahbaz Bhatti sees glaring loopholes in the verdict, and begins a quest for justice. Each lead he follows contradicts the one before, and the twisted story reveals the ugly truth of child labor in 1990s Pakistan.
The Pre-Launch of the movie Gunjal will be held at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) Lahore on 20 November 2023.
